The Aerospace 5 is a measured 5 mile road race around Bishops Cleeve and is usually held on the first Thursday of July from the race HQ at Newlands, formerly Smiths Aerospace Clubhouse, on Evesham Road. The race, which starts and finishes on the playing field by the clubhouse, has been held each year since 2002. In 2001 a similar course was used for the racecourse 5 that started from Cheltenham racecourse.
